Granfeld is supported by a team of senior professionals with significant international experience in banking and finance, with a focus on Private Banking and Financial Markets. Members of the firm's senior management have held leadership positions in large companies and have considerable experience on the boards of international organisations.

Andreas Christofides Founder and Managing Director

Andreas founded Granfeld Wealth Management in 2014. He began his career in 2001, in Milan, at Sanpaolo IMI Asset Management SGR (now Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A.). In 2006 he moved to Zurich and joined Credit Suisse AG (now UBS Group AG) as a member of Senior Management. His roles included Head of Investment Services, Credit Suisse Monaco, and Head/Market Leader, Private Banking Central and Eastern Europe (twice receiving Euromoney's Best Private Bank award).

He has significant experience in corporate governance and advisory matters. From 2015 to 2020 he served as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board of Hellenic Bank in Cyprus (now Eurobank Limited), sitting on its Risk, Audit and Integration Committees. Since 2021 he has been on the Board of a subsidiary of Safe Bulkers Inc., a major Cypriot dry-bulk shipping company, and is a trusted strategy advisor to entrepreneurs and family business owners.

A Cypriot national, he speaks Greek, English and Italian. He holds a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics, a Master's in Economics from Bocconi University and an MBA from INSEAD.
