Mr. Andreas Christofides has 20+ years of professional experience in banking and finance. Since 2014 he is the founder and Managing Director of Granfeld Wealth Management, while in the period 2006 until 2014 he was a member of Senior Management at Credit Suisse AG in Switzerland and Monaco. Amongst various roles he was Head Investment Services Credit Suisse Monaco and Head/Market Leader - Private Banking Central and Eastern Europe (twice receiving the Best Private Bank award by Euromoney).
He has significant experience in corporate governance and advisory matters. In the period 2015 - 2020 he served as a Non-Executive Director (Independent) on the Board of Hellenic Bank in Cyprus where he was a member of the Risk, Audit and Integration Committees. He is currently on the Board of a leading Cypriot shipping company specializing in the transportation of dry-bulk commodities and is a trusted strategy advisor to entrepreneurs and family business owners.
He is a Cypriot National and is fluent in Greek (mother tongue), English and Italian. Andreas studied Economics (BSc) at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Economics (Master’s degree) at Bocconi University in Milan and has an MBA from INSEAD.
